Panaji
The city boasts of ancient churches, enchanting beaches, appealing locations and vibrant carnival festival. Situated on the banks of Mandovi River, it is a place worth to visit. The popular attractions include Calangute beach, Dona Paula, Salim Ali bird sanctuary, Church of Lady of Immaculate Conception and museum.

Vasco-da-Gama
This city got its name from Dom Vasco-da-Gama who was a renowned Portuguese explorer. Situated between the two beaches, it is a fascinating place. Some famous attractions of the city include St. Andrew church, Bogmalo beach, the Naval Aviation Museum and Buddhist caves.

Margao
It is the second largest city of Goa. Tourists come here to see the Church of the Holy spirit, Hindu temples, farming villages, Colva and Benaulim beaches. The city is also known as the main commercial city of Goa.

Arambol
It is a fishing village located 50 km away from the capital city. It boasts of sand, palm groves, beach and steep cliffs. You can capture the sights of dolphin here. Tourists can also enjoy several water sports activities here like swimming, scuba diving and para gliding. The serene natural beauty makes it a romantic destination. Freshwater lake, Teracol fort and the Northern beach are the major attractions of the place.

Canacona
The place boasts of Cotigao wildlife sanctuary which is home to different wildlife species like leopard, panther, hyena, porcupines, sloth bear and wild boar. Other popular attractions include Poloem beach Agonda beach and Cavelossim beach. It also has some beautiful Hindu temples.

Ponda
Known as the temple town of Goa, it is also a gateway to Goa's wildlife sanctuaries. There are ten temples dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries. Bhagwan Mahaveer sanctuary and Bondla wildlife sanctuary are the popular wildlife destinations of the city.

Palolem Beach Goa Travel

Everything is getting so fast paced around us, thats time we definitely need a break. Palolem is a good place to lay down all your burdens and have a good time. Palolem is largely unspoiled and is inhibited by both local fishermen and by foreign tourists who live in shacks along the shore or in the main village itself.

The airport is approximately 67km away and the Margao Railway Station is 43kms away. There are bus services at regular intervals of 30 minutes from the beach to the Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTC) Bus Depot in Margao. The nearest Bus Stand is at Chaudi (Canacona City), which is 5 mins from Palolem. But my personal favourite would be to make a road trip out of it.
